Please book a PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSESSMENT if you are a new client, past client with a new injury or returning client who has not attended Physical Therapy in three months.

Clients who provide less than 12 hours cancellation notice or miss their appointment will be charged a fee. For Massage Therapy the fee is 50% of the appointment cost and for Physical Therapy New Assessments the fee is $50.

Physical Therapy: Women's Pelvic Health

This area of Physical Therapy deals with pelvic floor dysfunction including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, painful intercourse, and urinary urgency & frequency.


Physical Therapy: Concussion Management

This area of Physical Therapy deals with post concussion assessment, management and treatment. Your condition will be thoroughly assessed, management strategies will be discussed and you will be provided with the correct treatment & exercises to ensure you are able to return to play and life symptom free.

I graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012, and then went on to complete my Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2015. I began my career in Edmonton in 2015, where I worked for 2 years before moving to Fort McMurray and making it my home in 2018.

Since graduating and becoming a Registered Physical Therapist I have attained six additional certifications to improve my patient care:

  1. University of Alberta Medical Acupuncture (MAP). This treatment will have many benefits including decreasing stress, anxiety, pain and inflammation as well as promoting healing, improving sleep, balancing hormones and increasing energy levels. Medical Acupuncture effects multiple body systems and this holistic approach is a great adjunct to your Physical Therapy Treatment.

  2. GunnIMS Practitioner (GCIMS). Is a system for diagnosis and treatment of myofascial pain syndromes and chronic pain conditions that occur in muscles where there is no obvious sign of injury or inflammation. The goal of GunnIMS is to release muscle shortening, decrease the pull on the nerve and desensitize the neuromuscular system.

  3. Women’s Pelvic Health Therapist. To help Woman with urinary incontinence, urinary frequency/urgency, post natal recovery and pelvic/low back pain. With Pelvic Floor Therapy you will learn how to correctly contract and relax your pelvic floor muscles in order to treat and prevent these symptoms from occurring.

  4. Shift Level 2 Concussion Assessment, Management and Treatment. If you are dealing with post concussion symptoms, I will thoroughly assess your condition, help you with management strategies and provide you with the correct treatment & exercises to ensure you are able to return to play and life symptom free.

  5. Spinal Manipulation.

  6. Ordering Diagnostic Imaging. I am authorized by the Alberta College of Physical Therapists to order x-rays, MRIs and ultrasounds.

I graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. in 2010 as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Human Resource Management Diploma from St. Mary’s University in Nova Scotia, 2004. I completed my Diploma in Manual Therapy in 2020 and I currently hold a Fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Manual Physical Therapists.
